Holmesterne Foods, as we know it today, was formed in 1994 by Martin Sterne and Keith Tindell who collectively have over 50 years experience within private and public quoted food businesses.

Holmesterne Foods has a proven history of success and innovation within the meat supply and added-value food business at national and regional levels and with multiple retailers.

Holmesterne Foods has again secured grade A British Retail Consortium accreditation with SAI Global on all three of their North Yorkshire based factories.

Holmesterne’s Managing Director Keith Tindell says, “I’m really pleased we’ve achieved top accreditation across all 3 factories. It’s become increasingly difficult to keep A grade status because of more stringent guidelines on allergens, environmental issues, waste reduction and disposal.”
